Olympic Style Boxing Practices
The Olympic Style program is what we use to teach the fundamentals of boxing to our members. It is where all aspects of boxing are combined and used in a variety of drills. . Every practice is structured to include the importance of footwork, punches, combinations and defense, and the ability to put it all together.
Separated into Novice and Intermediate/Advanced classes, practices are the ultimate in Olympic Style Boxing, suitable for the beginner and advanced fitness enthusiast.
In Intermediate/Advanced practices we add counter punches, inside fighting and strategy. In addition, there is more focus on shadow boxing, hand pads and the use of different types of bags (heavy bags, uppercut bags, speed bags and the double end ball).
Kickboxing practice is perfect for those who are interested in getting in shape and learning a martial art. Ideal for beginners or the more advanced athlete who wants to stay on top of their game. There is no contact in this class; however, you will be punching and kicking the heavy bag, so bring your gloves if you have them!
