Winnipeg (MB) – August 19, 2014– Winnipeg Elite Boxing and MMA Academy Inc. is pleased to announce the latest on its continued pattern of achievements on the professional and amateur world boxing stage. On August 15th, professional female boxers, Olivia “the Predator” Gerula and Judy “the Pit Bull” Pereira brought back wins from Gatineau, QC where they competed in the first ever female only fight card held in Canada to date.

Earlier this month, Winnipeg Elite Boxing and MMA Academy Inc. sent eight competitive amateur boxers and five coaches to the 14th annual Ringside World Championships in Independence, Mo. held July 28- August 2, 2014. A remarkable display of aptitude from the Academy saw four out of the eight athletes, bring back Championship belts and the title of Ringside World Champion; a feat unmatched by any other boxing club in Manitoba and an improvement from last year’s well earned three Championship belts.
